MALANG CITY – HOTEL IN MOUNT BROMO

Bromo tour from Malang will start from Malang area (Airport, Train Station or Hotel). We will drive from Malang to Bromo area for ±3 hours' drive.

MOUNT BROMO TOUR – HOTEL IN BANYUWANGI AREA

Mount Bromo tour will start at 3.30 AM from your hotel in Mount Bromo area when you come on holiday season or weekend, you should start your tour earlier. We will ride a jeep from our Hotel to Penanjakan hill, it’s one of the best sunrise points in this area. The jeep ride will take about 40 minutes, and the sun will rise about 5.20 AM, so you still have more an hour to wait but you can buy a cup of coffee or tea to make your body warm.

Sometimes, the temperature on the top of Penanjakan hill is very cold, it’s about 10◦ Celsius. When the sun rises, all the people around you will yell to welcome a great sunrise with some mountains as a background. Besides the great sunrise, you will see the most famous landscape of Mount Bromo, Batok, and Semeru, the best view to be seen is around 5.50 AM when the sun is quite bright to shine the mountains that we call it “Golden Hour’.

After you enjoy the scenery on the top, we have to go back to our jeep, then continue our trip to the peak of Mount Bromo. We will stop the Parking area, it’s our starting point before we do Mount Bromo trekking. The trekking will take about ±1, 5 hours on foot but you can ride a horse if you want to make it faster. There are a lot of horses are available to rent. Before you reach the peak of Mount Bromo, you must take ±250 stairs, it will lead you to the top of Mount Bromo. When you have reached the top of Mount Bromo, you will see the volcanic activity of this volcano, you will hear the volcanic sound and smell the sulfuric gasses who come from the hole.

After you get enough photos of Mount Bromo, we will back to the jeep and ride back to your hotel for having breakfast before we go to our next destination. Around 10.00, you should be ready will all your bags then we will drive for ±5 hours to your Hotel in Banyuwangi. Hotel in Banyuwangi is much recommended to stay before you do trekking in the Ijen crater on the next morning, it’s only an hour away from Ijen Crater area.

IJEN CRATER TOUR – HOTEL IN BALI

Ijen crater tour will start at 4.00 AM, we will bring our breakfast boxes to the Ijen Crater, so we will have breakfast on the top of the Volcano and the car will bring us to Paltuding ( it’s parking point and starting point before we do the trekking, it has altitude around 1850m). It will take about an hour from your hotel to Paltuding. Upon our arrival in Paltuding, we will ask you to prepare everything that you need for trekking. The trekking needs ±1,5 hours, it’s 3 km away from Paltuding. When you have reached Ijen Crater (2386m), you will be welcomed with great scenery of Ijen Crater and Surrounding.

Ijen Crater is one of the most active volcanoes in Java Island, it has the biggest sulfur lake with the lowest acidity (0,8 ph-0,5 ph). The lake has a turquoise color that makes the view of Ijen Crater getting more beautiful. Besides the view, you will see the sulfur workers/miners who walk up and down by carrying a basket with some blocks of sulfur on their shoulders. They work at the sulfur mining in the Ijen Crater, the mining is located inside the crater, they have to walk down up to 800m to get the place, and you can see it clearly from the top.

They will get paid only USD 8 per day, it depends on how many kgs they can carry on their shoulder. After you enjoy all the things on the top of Ijen Crater, we have to walk down to Paltuding for going back to your hotel to take a shower and prepare your stuff before we go to Bali. Around 11.30 AM, we will drive to Ketapang Ferry Port then take a ferry to reach Gilimanuk Ferry Port (Bali island). Upon arrival in Gilmanuk Ferry Port, we will escort you to your hotel in Bali (Lovina, Pemuteran, Ubud, Denpasar, Kuta, Canggu, or Jimbaran).
