This is the newest information about the most famous natural phenomenon of Blue Fire in Ijen Crater aka Kawah Ijen, for anyone who plans to visit Ijen Crater and also its Blue Fire, you must read this article very carefully because at the moment the spot for Blue Fire is just opened again but it’s not regulated by the government, it means you will be responsible for your own risk. Well, they said; it’s better if all the visitors stay only at the top of Ijen Crater.

If you want to go down to the Blue Fire spot, we will still accommodate your desire to see this Blue Fire but you should always listen to our guide for your own safety. and now the trekking will be started at 2 am for all visitors who come to visit Ijen Crater, which means you will be having enough time to see Blue Fire and watching the sunrise on the top of the crater, but it will be super tiring, so please be ready for your condition and fitness.

Note: If you don’t want to start trekking at 2 am, you can also do normal morning trekking, starting at 5/6 am, but you will just see the view of the lake and the miners who carry the sulfur up and down.

We have also recommended for you, Ijen Crater Sunrise Trip is highly recommended too because you will see the best landscape of Ijen Crater from the sunrise viewpoint but you should be there before 5:30 am, which will be sunrise time. Here is the timeline for the trip, at 3 am you will do trekking for about 1h30-2h till the top of the crater, and then, you will have to trek upper to the sunrise viewpoint, it will take 25-30 minutes. So make sure, you will arrive there before sunrise. Moreover, this trip is less tiring than Ijen Blue Fire Trip
